i am a work in progress.

& i can only progress with more work.

My journey in photography began at Camp Galileo, the summer when an 8GB memory card would forever change how I viewed the world. From there, I would take any opportunity to take photos, whether it was my mom’s boyfriend’s camera or even a class iPad; I had to make images. I obsessed over it.

During high school, I spent all four years learning how to properly compose images, honored to receive the best photography award of my graduating class.

We all know this is where the story really starts.
Now, in college and studying graphic design, I find my passion for photography to gracefully chase a sense of vulnerability and beauty. During my independent study under Darcy Padilla, I was able to start defining my process and constructing a framework for myself.

There’s a rush to making art. It's profiting with progress, and not always payment. My work is driven by critique and reflection; through this process, I can attempt to create truly exceptional, well-expressed art. I am committed to pushing both my work and myself; I dare to mend the calloused hands of a young soul.
